Core Features & Benefits

Floor Mounting Bracket for Eberspächer & Webasto Air Heaters

Product Overview

This floor mounting bracket is designed for installing compatible Eberspächer (Espar) and Webasto air heaters through a vehicle floor. A large diameter circular cutout in the floor is required to fit this bracket. All mounting holes are pre-drilled to simplify installation and ensure proper alignment. Please note - product might come painted black or plain stainless steel finish

Installation Notes

This bracket is a small but essential component for achieving a clean, secure, and professional heater installation when mounting directly to the vehicle floor.

If you prefer an option that does not require a large circular cutout, you can also find the flat pre-drilled mounting bracket

Compatibility

This floor mounting bracket fits the same air heater models as our L-shape mounting bracket, including:

  • Eberspächer (Espar) Airtronic D2
  • Eberspächer (Espar) Airtronic D2L
  • Eberspächer (Espar) Airtronic B2L
  • Eberspächer (Espar) Airtronic B4L
  • Eberspächer (Espar) Airtronic D4
  • Eberspächer (Espar) Airtronic D4L
  • Eberspächer (Espar) Airtronic D4R
  • Webasto Air Top 2000 STC
  • Webasto Air Top Evo 40
  • Webasto Air Top Evo 55

It is also compatible with Planar, Autoterm heaters and most Chinese diesel and gasoline air heaters that use similar mounting patterns.
Please note, this item will not fit Eberspacher Airtronic D5 and D6L.

  • Must have part for floor mount

This site does not really provide a great explanation of what this part is needed for, but if you are mounting the heater on the floor, this part is a must!

  • Floor bracket

It was what I needed to install the furnace in the rear of my van over the rear axel thru the flooring and 1” insulation board and 5 mm Siless thermal sound deadener. The collar could have been longer to reach thru those three, so cut a 5” hole all the way thru the floor and added some 800 degree gasket maker from below. It all works beautifully

  • Exactly what I needed

Worked well to install my Webasto air top 2000 in a Promaster van. Seems very solid, good product

  • Easy Installation

Made installing my Epar heater a breeze. Instead of drilling multiple holes I just had to make one large hole with a 5 or 5.5 inch hole saw. Made it easy to run the intake and exhaust hoses right through the floor rather than trying to connect them under the van. I fastened it to the wood floor with screws and sealed underneath with 3M fire block and silicone. If I was going to do it again I’d do the same thing.

  • Good, but could be better

I really love the idea of this product, and used it, BUT I think it's very strange that the circular turret part is not fully welded to the base. It's only tacked down in 4 placed, which could potentially let water/debris in. So, I sealed the entire thing with gasket sealer, just as I did around the outside of the base, where it meats the hole in the vehicle floor. So, I really think it should be fully welded.

  • Works great. Needed slight modificatiob

Holes weren’t perfectly lined up which was annoying but I used a dremel to enlarge them and make it work. Perfect after that. Will probably buy a second one for another heater install.

  • Great product!

I was a little hot when I learned this was shipping from the UK. Not clearly noted in the website. But after I received it in three days all was very forgiven. And I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA!

  • D2 mounting

I installed my espar d2 unit 3 times before I was satisfied with the results. The first two times were using the external mounting box from Heatso (I reviewed that product), and, ultimately, used this for my final install. Quite happy with this bracket as it provides a clean and simple install. You need to drill a 5in hole, which was easily accomplished with an appropriately sized bit. I cleaned up the exposed edges and put down a few coats of rust inhibitor. The bracket was the perfect depth for my 2019 sprinter floor after vinyl planks, 1/2in ply and a 1/4in minicell foam layer. Connecting the exhaust, combustion hose and fuel line is a bit tricky given the small space, but there is ample room for the brackets if you pay attention to their orientation. I used a socket wrench with adaptor for the bits and it all fit just fine. Would highly recommend this product if you're installing the D2 anywhere in your van conversion. Drilling a 5in hole seemed intimidating upfront, but easier than having to align 7 smaller holes for the simple espar floor bracket. Not to mention applying rust inhibitor is much easier for the larger opening. Save yourself some time and buy the bracket and bit and be done with it.
