The Indel B TB51A is a 47 liter compressor type fridge from the Travel Box line. It’s a perfect device for 2-4 people going out for a weekend of leisure time or storing groceries on the go in a Van or RV.

As a two-way portable compressor fridge it can either run on 12/24 volt batteries (so you can hook it up to your vehicle) or it can run on mains electricity 110V-230V. Many people have a solar panel mounted on their RV’s which can be perfect for running this little fridge with no problem.

The Indel B offers a highly efficient experience with lots of useful features like the energy saving function (ECO) and the turbo function (MAX) meaning it can be very energy efficient or really cool, or both. It also features a built in AC/DC converter which allows you to plug in a DC 12-24 Volt battery or an AC 115-230 Volt supply.

No need to worry about batteries degrading as this unit comes with three battery protection levels. The all new sturdy injection moulded lid with an integrated closing system will keep your fridge closed without leaking even a bit of heat.

To top it off the Indel B fridge thermostat is a multifunction electronic device that allows for easy and economic management of the power usage of the fridge. This way it can run cool but also be very practical. This fridge uses the Danish BD35F Secop previously known as the Danfoss Compressor.

Its features make the TB51A the ideal portable refrigerator to be used in trucks, cars, off-road vehicles, picnics, RVs, motorhomes and caravans, on boats, yachts and wherever mobile refrigeration is needed.

Why are Portable Two-War Compressor Fridges the popular choice?

Two-way fridges use the same compressor technology as your refrigerator at home. They are however designed to also run on a 12 or 24 -volt battery, but they can run on mains electricity just the same. These little portable cooling devices are best for mobile and long term travel applications.

They're designed to run off a vehicle’s electrical system without drawing too much current and usually have plenty of battery and circuit protection installed. They can also be switched to 240 or 120 volts in trailer parks, camp sites, homes or anywhere else where there is a power line running.

Unlike gas fridges, the compressor types require a battery so they may not be best for conditions where you can run out. If you have a small solar setup however, you can rest assured that your groceries will stay cool and fresh.
