The Easystart Remote+ radio remote controller can be used for selecting or pre-setting your Espar /  Eberspacher heater operation mode, operation time, also for switching the heater ON / OFF remotely. Can preset your heater to work on required days and time.

    Very happy with the product. I am able to check the inside temp of my van and start the heater if i wish from inside my home. Having a remote makes wiring the system much easier because the airtronic unit, altitude sensor and easystart remote controller can all be mounted under the passenger seat. The temp sensor and antenna wires areThe only cables that must exit the seat area. When traveling, the remote fob is right beside the bed in case there is a need for heat during the colder hours of the night

  • Great but needs extra parts and $$s to be fully usable.

    First, HEATSO customer support was excellent and the product is amazing once you get it set up and properly wired/working.Issues I had are: * You need the High Altitude kit if you ever go near the mountains... which is where you usually need the heater! + ~$400 if not on sale... * The temperature sensor that comes with the Remote + unit is not usable as a thermostat. It just lets you know the temp. but won't shut off the heater at the desired temp. + ~$50... * The Molex Micro-J connectors are a pain to use, small and not initially crimped (which technically needs a tool to properly crimp and another tool to remove if you make a mistake putting them in the housings).

  • A MUST HAVE ACCESSORY

    BEST thing I ever added to my heater. it makes it so easy to start the heater from inside my home, so when I am ready to leave, the truck is TOASTY warm WITHOUT running the engine. it is a little tricky to wire up, but it just takes a little extra time to figure it out. (the included wiring diagram is NOT clear at all)

  • Love it!

    Works from quite a distance away. At present, it is paired with an EasyStart Select to control an Airtronic D2 in our 2016 4X4 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van, and of course provides much more control than the EasyStart Select is capable of. We are currently installing a D5 hydronic heater in the van as well and plan to replace the Select with an EasyStart Timer. This way we will be able to control both heaters with one controller and/or one remote. Sweet!
