Get superior boat heating with the Espar AM3 D4R Marine Kit. This Airtronic marine kit comes with a 3 outlet hot air ducting system, capable of heating three separate cabins. This 12V boat diesel heater is suitable for a 26-32 ft motor yacht or 32-39 ft sailing yacht. With a few extra accessories, outlet numbers or types/colors can be reduced or increased. Use duct wrap insulation to reduce heat loss when routing your ducting system.

The brushless motor in the Espar AM3 D4R Marine Kit ensures a longer service life of the turbine, providing durability and reliable performance. Due to its innovative design, the brushless motor is quiet, and maximizes the heating system's efficiency. This is a recreational version of a regular D4L commercial boat heater, designed to operate with longer ducting systems than the commercial version. The D4R is designed for use with RVs, boats, yachts, and other marine applications.

Good kit but includes a lot of unused parts
While all necessary parts are there the kit includes redundant parts for other applications. Fuel lines (2) and parts, as well as exhaust and combustion air parts that are not used in a marine installation could be excluded, possibly reducing the overall price. Some other ducting parts, elbows and couplers I needed, had to be located through other dealers. The design of the heater itself might be better if the combustion air and exhaust were such that when the unit is placed for the air duct facing forward, towards the cabin of a boat, the exhaust didn't need a 180° turn towards the stern. Be aware the exhaust through hull is designed for a near vertical transom and one that angles back, or is reversed may need to be given a tapered mounting surface.
