The ultra-compact RV hydronic hot water system also includes Watermark approved tempering valve and plate heat exchanger to ensure hot water is always delivered at safe temperatures.

Powerful Eberspacher D5E HS3 Hydronic furnace for van and RV

The HS3 furnace by Eberspacher offers a power output ranging from 4,400 to 17,070 BTU and a coolant capacity of 3.96 gallons, ensuring optimal performance with minimal noise and power consumption, as well as improved water and dust resistance.
The furnace's advanced modulation technology eliminates excessive cycling, making it efficient and quiet, while its compact design integrates perfectly into the DH15 system. The D5E HS3 furnace drops to low power much faster, so it starts up more gently and quietly.

Efficient controllers for smooth operation

The hydronic heating system is equipped with an air blower unit and comes with two controllers. The EasyStart Pro controller is optional but you'll need it if you travel in high altitudes. It allows you to use the high-altitude setting, providing reliable heater operation and preventing carbon buildup.
The thermostat is used to control the air blower unit of the heater. If you are not planning to travel to take your RV or van to higher altitudes, installing the EasyStart Pro controller is not necessary.

Easy installation and versatility

For hassle-free installation, the DH15 comes water-leak tested. The package includes the Eberspacher installation kit, featuring everything you need for a smooth setup: wiring, fuel line, exhaust, inlet air silencer, and connectivity to the DH thermostat. This hydronic hot water system can be used with both diesel and gasoline heater options.
The Eberspacher DH15 van heating system is easy to install with basic tools. Key steps include mounting the furnace and coolant pump, cutting and securing hoses with clamps, and connecting the combustion air silencer. The setup is straightforward with clear instructions and included components.

Quiet performance and adaptability

Eberspacher DH15 hot water system is significantly quieter in terms of the combustion fan and overall noise levels. With the Eberspacher super quiet fuel pump, you won't hear a single ticking sound during operation.
When using fan heads for heating, they won't cycle if they produce over 4,400 BTU. Therefore, at a low power, they are as silent as an air heater.
