Espar Airtronic & Hydronic Diesel 12V Tandem Air and Water Heating Kit with EasyStart Pro Controller
If you are in the search for capable and high-powered secondary air heating solutions for vans, van conversions, trucks, mobile workshops, living areas with modest insulation or boats, the Espar Airtronic D5 is just right for you!
This diesel-powered bunk heater represents the highest capacities and technical aspects in the market today. The Eberspacher / Espar Airtronic D5 can be as powerful as 5.5 kW and on maximum output emit 18800 BTU. This power results in fast, efficient and struggle-free heating up, which results in added comforts and reduced stress.
As powerful as this system is, the maintenance and running costs are very low since it only consumes 0.66 l/h of diesel fuel per hour (approx.). With the standard specification, this air heater will fluently operate in altitudes below 2.2 kilometers or 7.2 thousand feet (above sea level). However, if you decide to install the HAK (High-altitude kit), the altitude ceiling ‘increases’ to over 3 kilometres or above 10 thousand feet. The marine kit allows installing the system into a boat/ship/yacht etc.
These features and additional adaptability of this Eberspacher / Espar air heater is crucial for travelers who want maximum comfort every step of the way. We provide an installation manual to make fitting as straightforward as possible. The manual helps simplify using it as well. In terms of size and scale, the D5 bunk heater is not the smallest unit, yet it remains quite compact and ergonomic. These features allow to fit it seemingly everywhere.
