Core Features & Benefits

Webasto X100 Diesel Cooktop for RVs and Motorhomes With Installation Kit

Cook with diesel instead of propane. The Webasto X100 Diesel Cooktop is a built-in 12V diesel stove designed for compatible RVs, motorhomes, and campervans. It connects to your vehicle's diesel fuel supply, allowing you to cook without carrying a separate propane cylinder.

Featuring a durable CERAN® glass-ceramic cooking surface, two connected heating areas, and an enclosed diesel burner, the X100 offers a practical cooking solution for life on the road. This package includes the Webasto X100 cooker, pre-assembled fuel pump, ventilation box, controller, and installation components.

What's Included in the Webasto X100 Installation Kit?

The Webasto X100 Diesel Cooktop (Part Number: WA90000B) comes with the following components:

  • Webasto X100 Diesel Cooker – with pre-assembled fuel pump
  • Ventilation Box – pre-assembled
  • Controller – for operating the cooker and adjusting heat
  • Power Cables and Wiring
  • Fuel Line and Connection Hardware
  • Fuel Filter
  • T-Connector
  • 15A Fuse
  • Exhaust Hose with Integrated Silencer
  • Intake Hose
  • Installation Hardware

The fuel pump and ventilation box are supplied pre-assembled, reducing the amount of assembly required during installation.

Important: Additional vehicle-specific fittings or installation materials may be required depending on your RV configuration.

Why Choose the Webasto X100 Diesel Cooktop?

  • One fuel source: Cook using diesel from your vehicle's fuel system when properly connected. No separate propane cylinder is needed for the cooktop.
  • Two cooking areas: A hotter main cooking zone and an adjoining area for gentler heating allow you to handle different cooking tasks.
  • No exposed cooking flame: An enclosed diesel burner transfers heat to the ceramic cooking surface.
  • Low fuel consumption: Uses approximately 0.02–0.05 US gallons (0.09–0.18 liters) of diesel per hour.
  • Low electrical consumption: Draws approximately 0.3 A during normal operation, with higher demand during startup.
  • Easy-to-clean surface: The smooth CERAN® glass-ceramic cooktop makes everyday cleaning straightforward.
  • High-altitude function: A dedicated operating mode helps support cooking at higher elevations.
  • Installation components included: Supplied with the fuel system components, ventilation box, controller, wiring, and mounting hardware listed above.

How Does the Webasto X100 Diesel Cooktop Work?

Unlike a traditional propane stove, the Webasto X100 uses diesel combustion to heat its glass-ceramic cooking surface.

A single adjustable diesel burner heats two connected cooking areas. The round main zone provides higher heat for cooking and boiling, while the adjoining area offers gentler heat for warming food or simmering.

Note: The X100 does not have two independently controlled burners. Both cooking areas share one adjustable heat control.

Combustion exhaust is directed outside the vehicle through a dedicated exhaust system. The protective ventilation box helps manage temperatures in the installation space.

The cooker takes approximately 3 minutes to start up. A hot-surface indicator warns when the ceramic cooking surface remains hot.

Installation & Vehicle Compatibility

The Webasto X100 is designed for permanent installation in compatible diesel-powered RVs, motorhomes, and campervans. It is not a portable camping stove.

Before purchasing, make sure your vehicle has sufficient installation space and supports the required fuel, electrical, and exhaust connections.

Installation Requirements

  • Compatible diesel fuel supply and connection
  • 12V DC electrical system
  • Properly routed exhaust system to discharge combustion gases outside the vehicle
  • Adequate installation space beneath the countertop
  • Ventilation and cooling arrangements that meet Webasto installation requirements

Cooktop and Protective Casing Dimensions

  • CERAN® Cooking Surface: 18.3 x 12.4 x 2.0 in (466 x 316 x 50 mm)
  • Protective Casing: 22.2 x 14.4 x 6.8 in (565 x 366 x 172 mm)

Before installation: The protective casing requires more space beneath the countertop than the visible cooking surface. Verify all mounting dimensions, ventilation requirements, and necessary clearances against the official Webasto installation instructions.

Installation should be performed by a qualified installer familiar with diesel-fueled equipment and vehicle electrical systems.

  • Customer service needs help

Overall the stove works well. Really nice not to have to carry propane. Recently on a trip, I could not get the stove to light. I called the Irvine office and was forced to leave a message. I never received a call back. Fortunately I was able to figure out the problem and get the stove back online. For the price of this stove vs. a $100 Coleman option, I would like to see some better customer service. Also the operating instructions are severely lacking how to operate the unit and solutions to common problems. That bit of information in the manuel would have been very useful.

  • Mon meilleur
