Installation versatility of the flexible solar panel
The flexible solar kit comes with adhesive or screw-mounting options, which eliminates the need for custom mounts. This mounting solution not only makes installation much easier, but also means that the thin, lightweight 200-watt solar panel will fully conform with the contours of your RV or boat.
When mounting the solar kit, it is important to know that the adhesive or sealant that is required depends on the roof membrane material. If you’re mounting on a fiberglass surface, then you can use 3M double-sided tape to install your 200 W solar panel. Make sure that the tape is used on a clean surface at the correct temperature (this can depend on the type of tape). For additional safety, we suggest you add a layer of self-leveling sealant around the perimeter of the module.
