What tools do I need to install an Eberspächer / Espar heater?
Standard tools:
- Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
- Mini Phillips screwdriver
- Standard and metric sockets and wrenches
- Standard drill
- Angle drill
- Four-inch hole saw
- Two-and-a-half-inch hole saw
- One-inch hole saw
- 3/4-inch hole saw or drill bit
- Various standard drill bits
- Utility knife
- Wire cutters
- Wire strippers
Special tools (included in the kit):
- Wire crimpers
- Diagnostic unit
- Terminal removal tool
Do your kits include all the necessary parts to install the heater?
Unless specified otherwise, our heater kits include everything needed for installation.
Where can I find my heater’s installation instructions?
You can find the installation instructions in the CD that comes with the heater, by scanning the included QR code or request a manual from support@heatso.com, who will provide all required documentation.

Should I install the heater myself?
Heater installation is a rather technical process. You should only undertake it yourself if you have the necessary tools and feel comfortable with your skill set to complete it. Otherwise, we recommend getting a professional to do it for you.
